Code of conduct

Parent and dancer

 I will:

• Arrive on time for all classes and ensure I am ‘ready to learn’ i.e. in the correct uniform and warmed up.
• Contact Inspire Studios for any absences from classes.
• Be respectful and polite to all of my dance teachers and fellow dancers.
• Try my best and remain focused in all classes.
• Attend classes in appropriate dancewear- please see our uniform policy. If we are taking part in an external event, I will have the correct Inspire Studios uniform as directed by Miss Tasha or Miss Izzy. Hair will be tied back off the face and no jewellery will be worn. 
• Respect the dance studio, all equipment, all costumes and facilities.
• Take responsibility for my belongings when in the studio or at an event with Inspire Studios. If you have lost something, please let us know. We can check the lost property box! We recommend you label all clothes and shoes.
• Speak to Miss Tasha or Miss Izzy if I ever have a dance related problem or feel you need advice or help. I understand that I can reach out to staff at any time.
• Inform my teachers of any injuries at the start of my lesson.

I will not:

• Eat in the studio or chew gum
• Use my phone in the studio
• Be unkind or communicate negatively about others or myself whilst you are part of Inspire Studios.
• Upload any Inspire Studios dances/ choreography onto social media platforms without permission.
• Re-perform any choreography that has been taught at Inspire Studios, without permission.
• Leave the premises without a parent/guardian or parental permission.

Whilst I am a part of Inspire Studios, I understand:

• I must attend classes regularly. Dancers will have a responsibility to catch up with any missed choreography before their next class.
• My dance teachers will have the final decision regarding my ability to perform/ compete in any dance styles
• If a class has to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, staff will alert parents through social media. We will not reimburse the class fee, but we will rearrange the class where possible.
• There is a zero tolerance behaviour policy. If any dancers are caught behaving inappropriately they will be removed from the class/performance/event etc and parents will be notified. 
• All fees must be paid on time.
• AcroGems and AcroAva fees must be paid directly to them.
• If I need any help I can speak to the staff at Inspire Studios.
• I accept this ‘Code of Conduct’ and agree I must comply to the rules. Failure to do so may end up with parents being notified and further steps being taken.
• My child needs to be collected on time (to ensure no safeguarding issues arise). If late collection becomes a regular occurrence (e.g. 3 consecutive pick-ups without prior warning or a valid reason) then a £10.00 fee may be applied. 

Private Lesson students:

I understand I have to practice my routines in preparation for my next lesson. 

I must bring my USB stick to every lesson and all of the correct shoes/props.

Social Media/ Photography

Teachers at Inspire Studios will record/photograph students during class and post on social media (unless photo consent is not granted).

We advise you follow/like our social media pages in order to keep up to do date with all new information. This will also allow you to see what we get up too in class!

Any questions should be asked through Inspire Studios social media or email. Staff will not reply on their personal accounts. 

Fees 

Fees must be paid at the start of the month.  Keep an eye out on our Facebook page for how many weeks the month will be.

Package deal- all classes and a private lesson £50 per student, per week.  (Siblings £70)

Classes can be paid individually £5.00 per class, £15.00 private lesson (once you have signed up to your class, you will have to pay for it regardless of attendance- e.g. illness. This will not be the case if you have this in as a holiday.)

All Saturday children will pay via Bank Transfer monthly. Classes will be £4.50 each or £15 for the full Saturday.

This will be done via Bank Transfer.

Holidays:

All children are entitled to 2 weeks holiday annually, fees will not have to be paid over this 2 week period. You must inform Inspire Studios as to when this will occur. These have to be taken a week at a time (not separate singular days). 

All fees are non-refundable. If a pupil has a long-term illness or injury, fees may be refunded at the Principal’s discretion. This does not include minor illness.

Withdrawal Policy

If your child no longer wishes to attend Inspire Studios we require a notice period of two weeks in order for us to fill the space. 

Failure to comply to the above agreement, will result in parents being notified. We kindly ask that all students and families respect and adhere to the terms of this agreement, which are in place to ensure a safe, respectful and positive environment for everyone. Continued failure to comply may result in us having to review your place at the school, which could lead to withdrawal from classes if necessary. We truly hope this will never be the case, as we value every member of our Inspire Studios community.
